All Q4 Sportfishing trips will include the following:
- All rods, reels, and tackle
- Bait (live and/or dead, depending on trip)
- Ice and coolers for drinks and catch
- Fishing license coverage under the boat’s charter license (no individual license needed)
- Professional fish handling and filleting where allowed

For a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable outing, we recommend bringing:
- Sunscreen (reef-safe; avoid spray if possible)
- Hat and polarized sunglasses
- Lightweight, breathable sun-protective clothing
- Non-marking, non-slip shoes
- Any snacks and lunch you’d like
- Personal drinks (water, sports drinks, etc.; no glass containers are allowed on the boat)
- A small cooler in your vehicle for taking fillets home

No. Your license is covered under our charter vessel license, so once you step on board, you’re good to go.

Gratuity is not included in the trip price. A customary tip for the captain/crew is typically 15–20% of the charter cost, based on your experience.

A: Plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before departure so we can load up, review the plan, and leave the dock on time.

Q4 Sportfishing can accommodate up to 6 passengers per trip.

In most cases, yes—as long as species are in season and within size and bag limits. We’ll advise you on regulations and can clean and bag your catch at the dock.

Absolutely. We welcome families and younger anglers. Let us know if kids are joining so we can plan appropriately.

Safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe or clearly unfishable, we’ll work with you to adjust, cancel, or reschedule the trip.

Dress for sun and spray: light, long-sleeve performance shirts, shorts or quick-dry pants, a hat, and polarized sunglasses. Avoid black-soled shoes that may mark the deck.
